The Estonian Foreign Policy Institute organizes a talk on “Europe, Our Common Future: a Turkish Perspective” by the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Mr Ömer Çelik. The lecture will be moderated by Aap Neljas, Senior Researcher of the Estonian Foreign Policy Institute. Following the Minister’s talk, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. A lecture “NATO-Russia relations in the 21st century“ on 27 September at 15:00

The Estonian Foreign Policy Institute in cooperation with the Office of the Embassy of Canada organize a lecture “NATO-Russia relations in the 21st century“ by Mr Aurel Braun, Professor of International Relations and Political Science at the University of Toronto. Mr Braun was recently a Visiting Professor in the Department of Government at Harvard University (2012-2015) and he is a Center Associate of the Davis Center at Harvard University. Estonian Foreign Policy Institute is co-hosting a Tallinn Conference on the Eastern Partnership

This Friday,  February 10, the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEAP) and Estonian Foreign Policy Institute (EVI), with the support of the European Commission Representation in Tallinn,  will be hosting the 4th annual Tallinn Conference on the Eastern Partnership, entitled  Cooperation and Communication: Expectations and Challenges for the Eastern Partnership in 2017. Over 125 participants from the diplomatic, media, government, civil society, and academic communities in Estonia are registered to attend the conference, which will focus on two main topics: how best to cooperate to promote political and economic reform in the EaP region, and how best to communicate those reforms to ordinary citizens in a strategically challenging international environment. A talk “Introducing Romania: Trends and Developments in Romanian Society and Politics”, on 8 December

To mark the mutual opening of embassies in both countries, the Estonian Foreign Policy Institute organizes an event on Romania. On 8 December at 15:30-17:00 there will be a talk with Calin Rus, director of the Intercultural Institute in Timisoara. His talk is entitled “Introducing Romania: Trends and Developments in Romanian Society and Politics”. The talk and the ensuing discussion will be moderated by Lauri Mälksoo.  Calin Rus is an independent analyst and NGO leader in Romania with extensive experiences in various civil society projects and activities in Romania and many other countries.  The talk will take place in the Estonian MFA (Islandi väljak 1).
